Painting the Rosie's Red, originally titled Rosie's Makeover, is the seventh episode of Season 16. It had aired on August 14, 2020.

Plot[]

Rosie puts on a fashion show of sorts for the engines in the Yard as she contemplates her future look!

Sir Handel, Peter Sam, and Vinnie being at the Steamworks are references to the previous sixteenth season episodes, Bulstrode Barges In and Luke Dukes It Out.
This is the last time Rosie uses her 2007 model, after this episode, she uses a custom model made by Annie C, however, throughout the episode, Rosie model changes, it starts off with her 2011-12 model, then 2013-17, then 2018 Wood, and then 2019- wood model.
This is the fifth time that Rosie has been the main character in a episode, the first being her debut in the third season episode, New Engine Fever, the second being the fourth season episode, Rosie's Wild Ride, the third being the sixth season episode, Rosie Being Lazy, and the fourth being the ninth season episode, Late Again, Rosie!.
The title is a reference to the song Painting the Roses Red from the Disney animated film Alice in Wonderland.
This episode marks Logan's only speaking role in the sixteenth season.
